In practice, this functionality allows portal publishers, from a list of available and published open datasets, to select those datasets that are not intended to appear on the portal, and therefore not to make them visible. , usually because the dataset does not include information about the entity in question.

A good example that illustrates this functionality could be the case of a commonwealth of municipalities that has the portal of transparency and open data, and does not want to appear published on its portal, data sets that do not contain information about their entity. such as “elected officials” or “tax calendars and standards”. With this feature, the portal editor can easily mark the data sets that you do not want displayed and unpublish them, as shown in the following image:
