The secure verification code (CSV) is a code found in each document that is generated electronically and becomes a unique reference that allows access to the same document in electronic format to verify its authenticity.
How can a document be verified?
To perform the check, you must have the CSV and enter a validation tool.
In this sense, the transparency portal provides an item that allows this. Specifically, the item "Verification of documents using Secure Verification Code (CSV)", included in the "services and procedures" family, subfamily "services".
This item facilitates this task by offering by default the possibility of advertising the validator that the AOC Consortium makes available to organizations, which includes the verification of documents generated by its services (for example e-TRAM): https://www.seu-e.cat/csv . It therefore functions as an automatic item that includes by default a descriptive text and a default link to the AOC CSV validator.
However, if the entity has its own validator (or others that it wants to inform, for example the ORGT) the item can be personalized or supplemented.
Example:
The Castellar del Vallès City Council uses the item to also inform about its own validator. In this sense, it has expanded the description proposed by default, with the details of its link. More information in the link that leads to the validator item of the organization .
