The MUNICAT portal has a specific section associated with Transparency with many interesting resources for local bodies.
This section is formalized based on the contributions of the Network of Open Governments of Catalonia (formerly Xarxa de Governs Transparents), and is full of information resources related to the application, by local bodies, of Law 19 /2014, of December 29, on transparency, access to public information and good governance, and Decree 8/2021, of February 9, on transparency and the right of access to public information.
In addition, it includes different subsections that allow:
- Know the details of the explanatory items of the transparency obligations
- Have the details of the most frequent questions and answers in the interpretation of the law and the decree
- A space dedicated to aspects of personal data protection
- Resources linked to codes of conduct for senior officials of local bodies
- Resources associated with advertising the training available in the territory (as well as online)
- Administrative document models for the processing of SAIP files
Finally, the section also has a link to a form that facilitates access to a legal assistance service in matters of transparency offered by the General Sub-Directorate of Legal Assistance and Innovation in Local Administration of the Department of the Presidency
